After her engineering education, Güldenur Collins worked in the private sector in areas such as factory management and cost engineering, bringing the analytical thinking, strategic planning and management experience she gained in her professional career to the field of education consultancy. For more than 10 years she has been working within EducationUSA, the official higher education advising network of the U.S. Department of State. During this time she has specialised in the admissions processes, academic programmes and financial aid opportunities of U.S. universities, gaining extensive experience through international education events, her work with university representatives and individual advising.
