Students who want to study abroad but have financial difficulties have the opportunity to benefit from various scholarships. Scholarships can be given based on need or success, or based on fields of study. Students who receive associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral education abroad will be able to achieve their goals without experiencing financial difficulties thanks to these scholarships. In order to train the qualified manpower needed by higher education institutions and other public institutions and organizations, students are sent abroad for postgraduate education with the scholarship given by the Ministry of National Education (YLSY Program), based on the Law No. 1416 on Students to be Sent to Foreign Countries.
This scholarship, which is available for those who want to study for a master’s or doctoral degree abroad, is given by the Ministry of Education. A table is published within the scope of this scholarship and people are educated in the field and country in which they are placed. This scholarship, which is valid worldwide, also includes language education for those who do not meet language proficiency. The duration and place of language education are determined according to language proficiency. This period is considered within the scope of the scholarship. According to the selection made in the table, people also determine which academic institution or public institution they will work in upon their return.

An announcement regarding this scholarship was made on August 5, 2019. Candidates have been informed that they will make their applications via REBUS (Official Scholarship Student System – http://rebus.meb.gov.tr) between 07-26 August 2019.
