Last updated: 30 October 2026

This is a translation for information; the Turkish version prevails. You can change your cookie choices at any time.

1. Data controller

This notice is published by PLUS KARİYER EĞİTİM DANIŞMANLIK LTD. ŞTİ. (the “Company”) to explain the cookies and similar technologies used on the plusedu.com.tr website.

Contact: [email protected]
Postal address: Maslak 42, Maslak, Ahi Evran Cd. No:6, MultiOffice A Blok Kat:9 D:5, 34485 Sarıyer/İstanbul, Türkiye.

2. Cookies and the data processed

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. This site uses Google tags, Microsoft Clarity, Meta Pixel and embedded YouTube content. These tools may process visitor and session identifiers, pages visited, interactions, referral information, browser and device information and the IP address transmitted during the connection. The data is collected electronically by automated means.

3. Cookies, purposes and durations

The list below describes the main cookies associated with the integrations found on the site and the default durations published by the providers. Whether a cookie is set depends on the source of the visit, whether the service is activated, the browser and the provider’s settings. The default durations are not retention periods measured on this site.

Strictly necessary: plus_cerez

  • Provider: the Company. Domain: plusedu.com.tr; first-party cookie.
  • Purpose: to remember your cookie choice (which categories you accepted and when).
  • Duration: 12 months.
  • Legal basis: necessary to apply your choice; does not require explicit consent.

Google Analytics: _ga and _ga_*

  • Provider: Google. Domain: plusedu.com.tr; first-party cookies.
  • Purpose: to distinguish visitors, link session information and produce site usage statistics.
  • Data: visitor and session identifiers; related page view and interaction data.
  • Default duration: 2 years; may vary or be renewed depending on the provider configuration.
  • Legal basis: explicit consent under Article 5(1) of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK).

Microsoft Clarity: _clck, _clsk, CLID and MUID

  • Provider: Microsoft. Domain: plusedu.com.tr for _clck and _clsk (first party); clarity.ms for CLID and Microsoft domains for MUID (third party).
  • Purpose: to record interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement and measure usability through heatmaps and session recordings.
  • Data: visitor and session identifiers, page interactions, browser and device information. Text typed into form fields is masked under the provider’s default settings.
  • Durations stated by the provider: _clck 1 year, _clsk 1 day, CLID 1 year, MUID 1 year.
  • Legal basis: explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(1).

Meta Pixel: _fbp and _fbc

  • Provider: Meta. Domain: plusedu.com.tr; first-party cookies.
  • Purpose: to measure visits and conversions from advertising and support ad analysis and targeting.
  • Data: browser identifier, ad click/referral information and related page interactions. _fbc is typically set on visits arriving from a Meta ad click.
  • Duration stated by the provider: 90 days.
  • Legal basis: explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(1) for advertising and marketing.

YouTube video cookies

  • Provider: Google/YouTube. Domain: youtube.com and related provider domains; third-party cookies.
  • Purpose: delivering embedded videos, player preferences, service security and, depending on provider settings, measurement/personalisation.
  • Main examples: YSC (browser session), __Secure-YNID or formerly VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE (6 months), __Secure-YENID (13 months).
  • Data: player/session identifiers, video preferences and usage information; may differ depending on your Google account and browser settings.
  • Legal basis: explicit consent under KVKK Article 5(1).

Google Tag Manager manages the tags on the site and is not itself treated as a separate analytics cookie. Cookie durations refer to how long a cookie stays on your device; they are not necessarily the same as how long records are kept on the provider’s servers.

4. Service providers and transfers

Data may be transmitted to Google and Microsoft for analytics, to Meta for advertising and conversion measurement, and to Google/YouTube for embedded videos. These services may involve processing outside Türkiye. Domestic transfers must meet the conditions of KVKK Article 8 and transfers abroad those of Article 9. Consent to cookies is not on its own a sufficient mechanism for regular transfers abroad.

5. Your cookie choices

Visiting or continuing to use the site does not mean you consent to non-essential cookies. Analytics, advertising and personalisation tools that rely on explicit consent are not activated before you make the relevant choice.

In the cookie panel shown on your first visit you can accept all cookies, reject them, or choose separately for the analytics, marketing and external media categories. Accept and reject are offered in the same way. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie Settings at the bottom of the page. When you withdraw consent for a category, that category’s cookies on our domain are deleted; cookies on third-party domains can be deleted from your browser.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s privacy settings and manage privacy and advertising preferences in your Google, Microsoft and Meta accounts. Deleting cookies in the browser does not by itself delete data already sent to a provider. You can also send a request to withdraw consent to [email protected]; withdrawal takes effect for the future.

6. Retention and your rights

Personal data should be kept only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose and legal obligations, and deleted, destroyed or anonymised in accordance with the law once the conditions for processing no longer apply.

Under KVKK Article 11 you may learn whether your data is processed, request information about it, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, and learn the domestic and foreign recipients. You may request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, deletion or destruction where the conditions are met, and notification of these actions to third parties to whom the data was transferred. You may object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You can send applications in writing to the postal address above, in line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, or from the e-mail address you previously provided to us and registered in our systems to [email protected]. Other methods set out in the legislation may also be used. Applications are concluded as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest. If the action requires an additional cost, the tariff set by the Board may apply.
